Stand with Rand 2016 - We have come to take our country back

Presidential Candidate Rand Paul (R) Kentucky

I had the honor to be present when Rand Paul was announcing his Candidacy in Louisville, Kentucky. I had never felt more moved by a speaker, I had literal chills when he was speaking of his plans. Rand Paul is not only a different kind of republican, he cares deeply on how to change America.

"We need to have working-class folks, we need to have people with earrings, nose rings, tattoos, ties, without ties, ponytails, no ponytails." - Rand Paul, to the New Republic

The quote above is one of the many reasons why I love him. He gets the generation below him, he gets all forms of class, and he gets America.

Many people tell me when they see my tattoos ask me, "aren't you scared you won't get a job in politics because of tattoos?" I always say, "if the country is as progressive as it says to be, tattoos are the least of my worries." About 40 percent of Millennials have a tattoo according to a Pew Research Center report. that's almost to half of my generation. And Paul supports that, which is pretty cool.

Another reason to love Paul is that he values privacy. With debating and researching everything going on with National Security Agency. Ask any Millennial, we value our privacy, we enjoy knowing the government isn't spying on us. NSA shouldn't have the right to go through and collect cellphone data, unless they have probable cause. A police cant search your car or home without a warrant and suspension that you are up to no good, so NSA should be held to that standard, or not be able to function at all.

He believes in the constitution, which I believe many politicians forget thats the backbone of our country. Without it, we wouldn't be here.

Though his father was a politician, he grew up to be something else, an eye surgeon. He didn't go into politics, didn't become engulfed with lobbyists, big corporations, to make a career out of being a politician. HE is a surgeon first, Senator second, President of these United States next. He does what's right, not by what's right in the party. He calls everyone out, he truly wants our country to be better. Who wouldn't want a man who loves America so much that he isn't scared of the Washington Machine, and to hurt other people's feelings?

I agree with him on how we should have terms for congressmen and women. The reason being because the President has two terms, why not give congress set terms too? Too many people become career politicians, they lose sight on what makes us great, and helping people. He proposed "Read the Bill Act" where congress will actually read the bills before voting, so they are educated on what they're doing to our country.

His economic reform is called: Economic Freedom Zones.
What exactly is that? -- Areas of reduced taxes, which are different than a government stimulus. Reducing taxes in economically depressed areas is a stimulus that will work because the money is returned to businesses and individuals who have already proven that they can succeed.

Rand Paul speaks from the heart, with the influence of his wisdom and experiences. He is what we need for our country. He will not only change the republican party, he will change America.

I will stand with Rand as he goes through this next election season. Vote Rand Paul in 2016.
