Candidate O'Malley had to apologize for his statement, which was: "I certainly do and, in fact, I believe what I first said was that ‘black lives matter’ before those other two phrases. And when I said those other two phrases I meant no disrespect to the point, which I understand, that black lives matter is making.” http://dailycaller.com/2015/07/18/omalley-apologizes-for-saying-all-lives-matter-video/
O'Malley at his speech when saying "all lives matters" |
O'Malley is a Democratic candidate for the Presidential race for 2016. Though I do not agree with him on his politics, I do agree with All Lives Matter.
We should all care about each other, not just stand out to one race.
It's funny the side of liberalism who preaches black lives matter, they're more racist than anything I've ever seen. It's selfish really, because not only are saying no one else matters, you are making this nation walk on eggshells so YOU are not offended.
I for one, am tired of reverse racism. White deaths happen more than black deaths, but minority deaths are media buzz worthy rather than talking about the white male or female dying because of police violence brought upon themselves- or not.
What is your opinion on all lives matter? Do they really, or is it just a way to glamorize crime, and death in the media? Because that's what I think about this movement. Race was dealt with and won in with MLK JR, and until now we have lived in harmony. Unless I'm naive, and believe that and all citizens in the United States of America matter.
