Being MIA

I know I haven't blogged on here for a while, but a lot has been going on in my life, and in the political world. In my PR classes they teach you to blog every so often so your crowd doesn't disappear. Well, if this was a grade, I would've gotten an F, the last time I posted on here, it was June first.
Today, despite all the fun in politics going on, I want to blog about something more heartfelt, something that is personal.
Last Friday, I was at work, and my phone went off, it was a text from my boyfriend of 11 months. Though it was only that short of a time span, when I was with him it felt like it was already a life time spent with him, I loved him very deeply. - Besides the point, on that day we broke up; over a text message. How rude.
The reason why we broke up was because I am a Christian, and a republican and not willing to compromise myself for his beliefs of socialism, and anti-Christian establishments. I guess you could say we were unevenly yoked. Which means you should never get married, but I wanted to prove that wrong.
I can proudly say I am not a woman to change myself for love, or for a man. I can also say, it hurts like hell to have your heart broken, lose your best friend and starting the process over of trying to find your self.
But that's the beauty of being young, I can have my heart broken, and fixed fall in love, fall in solitude, growing up is tough. But thank goodness I have an entertaining political season coming up.

A war against Christians

Many people in today's society are choosing to wage war on Christians and choose to throw us into the "intolerant" or the "judgemental" and my favorite, "ignorant." These titles are given to us because we stick to what we know, The Bible.
What I'm saying is, that we try to live the life God gave to us, and what Jesus died for. Yes, we sin, yes we will continue, but the thing is, we accepted Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior and he died on the cross so we can sin - but knowing Jesus will redeem us at Heaven's gate.
After that trial with the Christian baker who refused to make a penis cake, people were quick to prosecute the Christian, but not remembering the First Amendment protects that right. People went to twitter, and multiple social media sites boasting their opinions and calling us intolerant, but if the roles were reversed you would not see it in the headlines.
The law that passed in Indiana, again social media swarmed with people calling the christian intolerant and hateful.
Lastly, Bruce Jenner becoming Caitlyn Jenner, this is where it gets hard for us Christians. We know we have to love Bruce the way he is, because that's God's will: "love thy neighbor" but we do not have to accept it - we do not have to condone that kind of lifestyle. God made Bruce, and God does not make any mistakes, The logic I see is Bruce liked girls before as a heterosexual, and now since his transformation, he still likes girls.... He became a woman to be a lesbian. Is this logical? No it's sick, and should not be praised as being brave. He grew out his hair, got breast implants, but yet still has his penis, by all means he is still a he.
This is just one type of war, there are global wars against christianity, I mean look at ISIS - against American and Christian faith. But that's a whole other scenario.
The point is, as a Christian Republican woman, I stand by my choice when I say I am proud to be a God fearing believer, and I will not stand to be someone who accepts the sensitivity of this society, and being told I'm intolerant, when the truth is the war waged on us is from the party who praises tolerance, but they themselves - do not practice tolerance when it comes to us.
Keep fighting your war Christians.
